Job Description
The Daughters of Charity is a congregate living facility for the retired Sisters of the Daughters of Charity. Independent living, assisted living and memory care is available. We are located in a wonderful park-like setting. Vehicle parking is onsite.
We currently have an opening for a part-time receptionist. This position would be in the front office. Experience in using a multi-line phone is needed. This individual should enjoy working with a senior population. Good communication skills are essential. Confidentiality and professional discretion are needed. The responsibilities include:
Responsible for accurately directing phone calls to the appropriate person or department
Responsible for taking accurate messages when needed.
Responsible for greeting and directing visitors/vendors in a professional and welcoming manner.
Responding to our Sisters' requests when needed.
The ability to react positively to change is necessary.
The ability to handle other tasks as assigned.
Have a familiarity with office equipment and applications including copiers, printers, fax machines, e-mail etc.
A knowledge of Excel and Word is helpful. The schedule is as follows:
Monday- 4pm-8pm
Wednesday- 4pm-8pm
Every other weekend:
Saturday- 8am-2pm
Sunday- 8am-2pm
Holidays will be determined
