Receptionist/ Optician at Optical/Eyecare Clinic

Job Description

Midtown Eye Care is looking for a front desk receptionist/ Optician at our location at 5011 Grover St. Applicant must have optical experience. Salary will depend on number of years of experience.

Full-time (35-40 hours per week)or part-time (16-24 hours)

Monday thru Wednesday 8:30am – 5:30pm, Thursday 8:30-12:00 noon, Friday 8:30-4:30pm, and occasional Saturday mornings.

In this position YOU will:

• Greet patients and check them in
• Answer phones and make appointments
• Work with health and vision insurances

Discuss vision benefits with patients

• Communicate with lab and patients regarding orders
• Adjust and order glasses

Outstanding candidates will have:

• Exceptional verbal communication skills.
• Problem-solving skills.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Willingness to learn. Job training provided for right individual.
• No travel (except to and from office).

Offered Candidates will need to do the following before first day:

• Successfully complete a background check
