SalaryImmediate opening for full-time receptionist in a busy Medical Practice. Medical experience and electronic medical records experience preferred but not required. Competitive salary and benefit package.
- Welcome and greet all patients and visitors. Register all patients into EMR system.
- Answer multi-line telephone while using proper phone etiquette.
- Referral scheduling and follow-through.
- Responsible for keeping the reception area clean and organized.
- Collecting co-insurances, co-pays, deductibles, etc. and maintaining accurate records.
- Registers new patients and updates existing patient demographics by collecting detailed patient information including personal and financial information.
- Facilitates patient throughput by notifying the provider of patient's arrival, being aware of delays and communicating with patients and clinical staff.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $15.00 - $16.00 per hour
