Shah Aesthetic Surgery is the cosmetic surgery practice of the highly talented Dr. Manish Shah. We recently relocated to a beautiful brand new office on the Swedish medical campus. We are expanding and now have a position open for a receptionist. Dr. Shah is a busy, board-certified plastic surgeon who has been in practice for almost 20 years and he does excellent work. He specializes in facial procedures and performs rhinoplasty, facelifts, and other facial procedures. Our practice also offers non-surgical treatments such as injectables and skin resurfacing treatments. We offer elective procedures for healthy patients only. Our patients pay for all procedures out-of-pocket as we don't accept insurance. We believe in and promote a positive, low-drama work environment. We would like to add a staff member who wants to do their part in promoting a positive, low-drama work environment. Our office hours are M-F 9:00 to 5:00. Work schedule would vary slightly from those hours. Occasionally, there may be schedule variations due to an event we are hosting, etc. but with plenty of notice.

Job duties include but are not limited to:

• Answering phones
• Scanning and uploading documents to patient EMR records
• Checking in and rooming patients
• Helping patients complete consents and other forms
• Checking out patients and scheduling new appointments
• Taking payments for products and services
• Stocking products and supplies
• Light housekeeping duties
• Learning about and actively selling skincare and services
• Other tasks as assigned

Qualifications and skill requirements:

• Minimum 1 year experience front desk/reception
• Strong computer, phone, and typing skills
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Able to follow direction given as well as work independently
• Experience in the cosmetic industry is helpful but not required. On-the-job training about what we do will be provided.
• Positive, team-oriented attitude.

The beginning wage is commensurate with relevant, verified job experience per wage range provided.
