Receptionist

Rare and immediate opening for a qualified, professional Receptionist at Berkshire Hathaway Automotive in Irving, TX supporting the Berkshire Hathaway Automotive (BHA) Management Company. The Receptionist will assist in supporting the 80+ dealerships and various BHA Management Company departments.
Receptionist Overview:
This position is responsible for performing various activities and works closely with a variety of departments within the BHA Management Company including Accounting, Legal, Facilities, and Information Technology. The hours for the Receptionist position are 8:00 am CST to 5:00 pm CST. This position reports to the Management Company Controller. Specific responsibilities include:

• Open the front lobby each day ensuring appropriate building access
• Answer the main BHA telephone line and respond/direct customer, vendor, and various other phone calls
• Coordinate visitor meeting ensuring proper visitor sign-in and name badge procedures
• Monitor/distribute mail and other deliveries as well as preparing outgoing overnight express packages
• Coordinate supply orders for the breakrooms and employees
• Coordinate supplies and maintenance for several copiers throughout the building
• Assist the Accounting Department with various monthly reports
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned or responsibilities dictate

Qualifications:

• High School diploma or equivalent required
• 2 years as a Receptionist or Administrative Assistant, preferred
• Basic computer skills including Microsoft Office, specifically Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and PowerPoint
• Experience working cross-functionally with multiple departments as a team player
• Confidentiality and the highest ethical standards are a pre-requisite
• Punctuality is essential as this position is responsible for opening the front lobby each day
• Strong organizational skills
• A strong work ethic and ability to work in a dynamic, rapidly changing work environment
