AP Specialist

Pay: Up to $30/hr

Location: Post Falls, ID

About Us:

We are currently working manufacturing based in Post Fall, Idaho. They are looking for someone new college graduate with their accounting or finance degree, or someone with 1+ years of experience within Accounts Payable. This is a great company that allows a lot of room for growth.

What You'll Be Doing:

+ Responsible for processing, verifying, and reconciling invoices.

+ Assign expenses to accounts and cost centers by analyzing invoice descriptions and historical data.

+ Process vendor payments by monitoring discount opportunities, scheduling, and preparing checks.

+ Set up and maintain vendor account information in the core system while adhering to verification procedures.

+ Verify vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions.

+ Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.

+ Support monthly and annual closing activities as needed.

+ Support internal and external audit requests during annual and interim audits.

+ Assist in developing best practices and drive process standardization.

+ Ad-hoc financial analysis and other duties as assigned.

+ Experience in manufacturing/cost accounting is a plus.

+ Knowledge of SAP is a plus.

What You'll Need:

+ EITHER 1+ years of A/P experience OR a degree in accounting/finance with no experience

+ Intermediate or above excel skills
