Job Description
This position develops, manages and optimizes processes involved in the receiving, reconditioning, and repacking of tools. Manages daily operations and efficiency. Develops and institute controls to improve utilization metrics, institute improvements and innovations to increase productivity.
Primary Duties and Accountabilities:
- Manage and maintain operations for the processing of tools through the reconditioning process. Introduce innovation to support increase in productivity, throughput and fulfillment. Meet goals for output, productivity and efficiency.
- Remain responsive to the market.
- Manage and maintain operations for the processing of warranty returns, efficiently interfacing with corporate processes, while driving continuous improvement.
- Manage and control operations for other tool and accessory returns processes such as Repack.
- Balance speed of turnaround with efficient utilization of resources.
- Data mining and reporting on department outputs and evaluate in order to find and action areas for improvement.
- Alert corporate regarding trends and other information regarding returns.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering, business, technology, or related required.
- Direct supervisory experience preferred.
- Intermediate experience in the management of industrial processes and operations, including process improvement techniques (Kaizen)
- Intermediate knowledge of Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) programs and systems.
- Intermediate or advanced skill in the Microsoft Suite including Access, Excel and Power BI.
