About the Role
We are searching for a Receiving Coordinator for our plant in Spartanburg, SC USA to perform the duties described below.
Your Responsibilities
- Receives all shipment, verifies incoming material and books in SAP.
- Investigation of supplier shipment discrepancies.
- Reports over/under shipments to supplier and supervisor.
- Conveys materials between designated areas and performs all inventory transactions.
- Verifies all labels and tags including shipping paperwork and supplier ASN.
- Participates in inventory checks and cycle counting activities. Stocks product in assigned areas.
Who we are looking for
- Ability to understand the sequence of production and workflow operations undertaken within receiving function.
- Ability to use ERP system, preferably SAP.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure.
- Flexibility to work across shifts or on weekends when needed
- Ability to lift up to 40lbs.
- Ability to operate a forklift.
Your preferred qualifications
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED; or two years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Proficiency in operating a computer using email, Microsoft office and ERP system.
