Receiving Associate 1st Shift

RECEIVING ASSOCIATE – This position will work to ensure all inbound product arriving at Jost is properly received, identified, and moved to the appropriate locations inside of SAP. This position works to accurately receive product according to the pack slips to ensure proper invoicing and inventory levels.

REQUIREMENTS:

a) Previous experience in Receiving

b) Previous forklift experience with the ability to obtain all JOST International Fork Truck Certifications.

c) Working knowledge of SAP or similar ERP Systems

d) Able to navigate Excel spreadsheets

e) Strong communication skills

f) Must be comfortable in a manufacturing and warehouse environment

g) Ability to gain knowledge of company products. Comply with quality, environmental, safety and JOST company policies and procedures.

h) Ability to multitask is required

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Include, but are not limited to:

a) Complete all inbound receipts for standard product and or competitor fifth wheels in a timely manner

b) Work to provide a seamless flow of product from the receiving dock to warehouse for put away

c) Review pack slips for errors and verify information as needed using SAP software

d) Ensure pack slips are correctly filed for future needs or verification

e) Assist with ensuring that product is labeled and packaged properly for the next departments use

f) Complete all necessary SAP transactions as trained and gain the knowledge of how to troubleshoot common errors and processes inside of SAP

g) Assist in directing the material handlers on the highest priority material to be moved to ensure we have limited detention costs

h) Ability to escalate to direct report at times of uncertainty to ensure inventory accuracy

i) Assist with any research of inventory inaccuracies that might be related to a receipt

j) Work closely with Finance teams on invoicing questions in relation to product that has been received and provide pack slips as needed

k) Assists in any assigned 5S and LEAN housekeeping initiatives

l) Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

a) Work is performed in a receiving area 100% of the time

b) While performing duties of this job, the employee will regularly; sit, stand, walk, reach, bend, twist and occasionally will be required to stoop, kneel, lift, pull or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance.
