A Snapshot of Your Day

This position as a Real Estate Portfolio Manager involves a combination of strategic planning and operational coordination to align the Real Estate Portfolio with the company's overall business objectives.

In our central role within Real Estate Strategic Operations, we have a wide range of responsibilities. We manage the global portfolio at strategic level and need to understand the needs and challenges in local industrial and office locations to support Real Estate as a whole.

Our team is looking for versatile, innovative, and enthusiastic Real Estate experts and data and digital enthusiasts and professionals that will drive us forward on our exciting venture.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • In your central function, you are well networked in the global and diverse Real Estate organization and support the local units in the creation of location concepts for office and industrial locations.
  • You keep a constant eye on the company’s global rental and property portfolio and use KPI to identify opportunities and risks in good time and propose targeted measures.
  • You analyze portfolio data and visualize and present the data in a target group-oriented way to enable data-driven decisions.
  • You define the portfolio management processes and tools to support a standardized methodology for all our projects and activities.
  • You constantly monitor the process and tool landscape to identify potential for simplifying and optimizing portfolio management and increasing efficiency.
  • As a project manager in global projects with multiple locations, you are responsible for the scope, stakeholder management, schedule, and budget.
What You Bring
  • Long term professional experience in managing an international corporate Real Estate Portfolio.
  • 5+ years within Real Estate.
  • Bachelor's degree in a commercial or technical field or equivalent education related to Real Estate management.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to develop location concepts in collaboration with interdisciplinary and multinational stakeholders.
  • Ability to understand the key decision-making factors of the corporate Real Estate organization and present data in a simple and understandable way, as well as the ability to visualize data and present analysis.
  • Experience in project management, leading and/or executing global projects.
  • Experience in defining, transformation and automation of business processes and corresponding tools – or strong interest with passion and the will to discover trends, structure and simplify processes and automate them with new technologies.
  • A strong communicator – robust and target group-oriented between global multinational stakeholders on different management levels
  • Fluent in English
  • Good proficiency in the usual IT tools, especially Excel, MS-PowerPoint and other MS-Office applications required. Knowledge of Power BI desirable. Willingness to become an expert in data analysis and management tools is a must. Affinity for further digital tools.
  • Applicants must be legally authorized for employment in the United States without need for current or future employer-sponsored work authorization. Siemens Energy employees with current visa sponsorship may be eligible for internal transfers.
