JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for management of Medline's 30M SF Real Estate Portfolio of owned and leased Real Estate assets including manufacturing, office, transship, and distribution space.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Proactively manage global portfolio of Real Estate assets to ensure optimization and consistency of occupancy strategy for all owned, leased and, income producing assets held by Medline Industries. Representing Medline's interests as a tenant and landlord across the global portfolio.
Management of internal Real Estate database to ensure data integrity across platform. Responsibilities include tracking of all critical lease dates including expirations, lease start dates, renewal options, termination rights, expansion rights, notice dates, etc.
Oversee lease administration team to ensure proper abstraction of legal documentation, compliance with all lease provisions, tracking of legal documentation, accuracy of RE addresses/locations, and landlord/tenant reconciliation process.
Lead Real Estate reporting and establish portfolio metrics to support data driven strategies to optimize Medline's global portfolio. Perform market and submarket analysis to support transaction strategies.
Responsible for occupancy cost management for leased and owned assets including the monthly tracking and analysis of rent, CAM, insurance, maintenance costs, utilities, RE Tax, and other OPEX related costs.
Lead and develop team to effectively partner with key internal and external stakeholders including business units, legal, tax, treasury, accounting, RE brokers, etc. Ensure that business partners are properly supported as it relates to Real Estate needs while ensuring compliance to governmental regulation and corporate policies / procedures.

Bachelor's degree
Relevant Work Experience
5 years of experience in related Real Estate field
2 years of management experience
Additional
Experience with contract review, lease administration, occupancy cost analysis, and team management
Working knowledge and understanding of industrial Real Estate operational needs, lease terminology, calculations, financial terms, lease audits, property management and principles.
Advanced level of skill with Microsoft Office including Excel.
