GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION
Provide Real Estate loan closing support and administrative support to multiple Real Estate closers..
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Maintain and manage multiple files for Real Estate closers
- Organize and save documents to document management system.
- Assist attorneys and Real Estate closers in collecting information
- Perform Internet based legal research
- Communicate with clients, realtors, lenders, and other interested parties throughout the closing process
- Keep attorney and closer updated on the progress of contracts and advise them of issues as they arise
- Handle closing and post-closing disbursements, filing and other procedures

- Understanding of Real Estate terminology
- Understanding of title insurance, Closing Disclosure (CD), Settlement Statement, deeds, mortgages, etc.
- Knowledge of SoftPro is a plus
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Education:
Minimum High School diploma or general education degree (GED) required
Experience:
One year of experience with Real Estate Closings and administrative work preferably in a law firm, however, consideration will be given to all qualified candidates with less office experience. Position initially requires 25 hours per week Monday-Friday.
Other:
Must pass pre-employment background and credit checks and drug screen and be able to obtain Florida Notary seal.
