Primary leasing and operational functions include:

• Overseeing leasing processes, from prospect engagement to lease completion, ensuring a high level of customer service.
• Utilizing property management software for efficient operations and customer relationship management.
• Inspecting properties and reporting damages, hazards, and concerns to Operations to create top-notch living standards.
• Creating marketing materials, videos, photos, and posting internet listings to attract the highest caliber residents.
• Running reports, updating inventory databases, and providing status reports at team meetings to keep the team focused on improvement.
• Adhering to all fair housing laws.
• Maintaining professional appearance as defined by the Employee Handbook to convey our brand excellence.
• Miscellaneous administrative tasks, including assisting management, accounting, operations, and maintenance to provide support.
• Additional responsibilities as required.

The Ideal Candidate Required to Possess:

• 2+ years in sales, customer service, or related field in a fast-paced service environment (ie, property management, hospitality, retail, restaurant etc.).
• Must be familiar with setting/achieving goals with the ability to follow a sales process.
• Efficient proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Apps, with the ability to quickly adapt to new technologies.
• Digital literacy, organizational proficiency, and strong communication skills.
• Critical thinking, problem solving, and sound decision-making.
• Time management skills to carry out instructions and make decisions within the scope of authority.
• Can work on deadline and handle private client information.
• Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
• Be self-motivated, disciplined, and driven.
• Professional, honest, sincere, and helpful demeanor.
• Attention to detail, strong organization skills, and eagerness to learn.
• Candidates must have an ability to follow policies and procedures.
• Be an active member of a team while also working individually.
• Candidates must have an ability to adapt to international audiences.
• Candidates must have a positive attitude and a strong work ethic.

Preferred Experience and Skills:

• Valid driver’s license and personal transportation (car) required.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.
• Additional Spanish language fluency is a plus.
• Property Management/Buildium/CRM experience a plus.
• Love and passion for Newark is a plus.
