This position will be responsible for supervising day to day concrete plant preparation, production, maintenance, and repair and quality control activities at the batch plant. Must be eager to achieve and maintain a level of excellence in customer service as well as have a high standard of expectations for themselves and those with whom they manage.
Initially, the candidate will work as an Assistant Plant Manager/Batch Operator learning our processes, with the intent to progress to having a site of their own, which comes with increased pay for the additional responsibility.
General Duties:
Ensure preventative maintenance is performed timely, thoroughly & correctly.
Make safety the main priority while working onsite and equipment.
Maintain positive and professional working relationship with coworkers, management & customers.
Ensure all equipment is operational and meets/exceeds all DOT standards.
Be prompt and timely for all shifts and scheduled projects.
Essential Duties & Functions:
Batch using manual & computer i2500 systems (Command Batch).
Troubleshoot problems in a dry batch Ready Mix Plant and with rear discharge trucks.
Schedule material deliveries.
Communicate with customers professionally.
Train, motivate and give direction & discipline to employees.
Follow directions of management.
Maintain and account for all equipment that is assigned to your plant.
Address employee grievances and issue discipline as needed.
Responsible for office administrative duties including but not limited to, payroll, tickets, inventory, HR and Safety documents.
Experience Requirements:
- Command Batch Software Experience is Required.
- Mobile Plant Experience is Preferred.
- Wind Industry Experience is Preferred.
- Must have dry batch Ready Mix Plant maintenance/troubleshooting experience
- Strong Leadership/Management skills
Work Location is multiple facilities outside of the OKC area, often multiple sites per project.
Multiple locations throughout the year, with 3-7 months per project, typically.
Ability to travel (this is a 100% traveling position)
