Ready Mix Dispatcher

Job description

Delta Industries Inc., a large Ready Mix Concrete Supplier is currently looking for a Ready Mix Dispatcher for its Jackson, MS location.

The key role for the Dispatcher will be dispatching a team of 40+ concrete mixer trucks with the customer service team. The main goal is to effectively satisfy customer needs according to the prescribed "service vision" by efficiently utilizing delivery labor and equipment and accurately planning the daily schedule. The dispatch team will be responsible for accurately and successfully dispatching a group of 40+ Ready Mix trucks every day.

Key roles and responsibilities of this position are as follows:

* Develop positive customer partnerships

* Identify and remove customer-driven problems

* Identify and help remove operational inefficiencies.

* Identify and help remove dispatch inefficiencies.

* Optimal Plant Sourcing

* Up to date truck tracking

* Ensure accuracy of key Performance Indicators

The ideal candidate will possess some but not all of the following:

*Extensive Customer Service/Interaction Experience

*3-5 years of Fleet Dispatch Experience

*Ready Mix Dispatching experience is a plus

*FMCSA Hours of Service knowledge
