Reading Tutor Extraordinaire Wanted!
Job Duties:
- Ignite young minds in Preschool to Grade 3 with personalized, one-on-one or small group tutoring sessions.
- Craft tailored lesson plans to tackle each student's unique learning journey.
- Make reading come alive through interactive teaching and hands-on activities.
- Keep a close eye on progress and maintain open lines of communication with parents.
- Be the guiding light for homework and test prep.
- Sprinkle in creativity using a variety of resources – from textbooks to educational games.
Other Duties:
- In the absence of students, assist the team in answering phone calls, creating activities, party planning, filing, grading, organizing, and help with marketing efforts.
Requirements:
- A Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience – preferred, but passion for teaching children is a must.
- State certification, preferred.
- Prior tutoring or teaching experience is a big plus.
- Weave complex concepts into clear, concise explanations with excellent communication skills.
- Embrace patience and adaptability to cater to each student's unique learning style.
- Juggle it all with strong organizational skills.

Pay: Up to $28.00 per hour
Expected hours: 3 – 15 per week
