Rda/Da For Front Desk And Assisting Part-Time Position

Responsibilities:

-Assist the lead front office administrator in scheduling patients, answering phones, taking payments, billing, verifying insurance, and taking all responsibilities when lead front office administer is sick or gone. (note: above list is not exhaustive, other front office duties will apply)
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures when needed and when lead RDA is sick or on vacation
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take dental x-rays (especially important when emergency patients need to be squeezed in the schedule)
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care
- Perform dental charting and documentation in Dentrix and paper charts
- Maintain infection control protocols and adhere to aseptic techniques
- Assist with CAD/CAM procedures for dental restorations
- Handle medical records and ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations

Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Dental Assistant
- Proficient in dental anatomy and terminology
- Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as Dentrix
- Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques
- Experience with CAD/CAM technology for dental restorations is a plus
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and ability to maintain patient confidentiality

Pay: $24.00 - $27.00 per hour
