Job Title: R&D Technician

Job Summary:

Support the transition between “Concept” and production by providing drawings that reflect customer requirements and meet MMTI ISO 13485:2003 requirements.

Essential Functions:

· Perform Drafting duties that are required to support the quality system required.

· R&D qualification builds prior to production runs.

· Create Prototyping drawings in MMTI format to allow for ease of transition into MMTI drawing system.

· Support manufacturing drawing requirements.

· Support the Engineering Change Order process.

· Assist in customer’s product development.

· Other duties as assigned.

Physical Demands:

· Must be able to climb stairs.

· Must be able to sit for long periods of time

· Must be able to endure eye strain from the computer monitor(s).

Qualifications:

Two years drafting experience.

· Experience in the Medical Device industry preferred.

· Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills a must.

· Ability to read and interpret various formats of technical documents required.

· Aptitude for working with and training people required.

· Ability to work with minimal or no supervision.

· Working knowledge of computers required.

· Auto Cad software program proficiency required.

· A knowledge industry blueprinting standards and symbols.

· A basic knowledge of ISO/FDA requirements preferred.

· Interaction with technical personnel required.
