Summary
We are seeking an intern for the summer of 2024 who will be working with support from the entire Exploratory Technology team. The primary area of study will be synthesis and characterization of new additives for metal working products.
Job Responsibilities
- Literature review of useful additives.
- Synthesis, isolation and characterization of desired target compounds.
- Support formulation and performance testing of additives.
- Present project results in a final project presentation (internal)
Qualifications
- Current 2nd or 3rd year student pursuing their Bachelor’s degree Chemical Engineering or Chemistry.
- Preferably, some experience in an academic research laboratory.
- Attention to detail
- Organized
- Able to multi-task and work on several projects at a time.
- Ability to analyze data in excel efficiently and present data in organized way.
