Wage: $67 - $73k per year

Hours: 6 am – 2:30 pm, Monday – Friday

Duties of the R&D chemist II:

• Provide analytical support for a designated range of products, contributing to revenue growth, increased laboratory capabilities, and enhanced lab quality compliance.
• Experience using chromatographic software (Empower 3 - strongly preferred).
• Excellent analytical and technical ability to design and execute experimental studies, statically analyze data, and author and review protocols and reports.

Requirements of the R&D chemist II:

• Bachelor's degree in a relevant Science field with a minimum of 4-6 years of experience.
• Leadership and previous supervisory experience are a plus.
• Experience in the development of pharmaceutical dosage forms and polymeric drug delivery systems with an emphasis on transdermals.
• Understanding of polymer science, analytical development, drug and formulation characterization, optimization, and scale-up.
