Job Description
RBT (Registered Behavior Technician)
The RBT works 1-on-1 with toddlers and children with disabilities implementing learning programs developed and supported by a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Work 1-on-1 with clients ages 2 to 5 yrs.
- Implement learning programs under the direction and guidance of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst.
- Collect, record, and summarize data on teaching goals each shift.
- Have fun with our learners while teaching them the skills they need to participate fully in their community.
- Ensure that the learner is in a safe and positive environment at all times.
- Set-up teaching session materials and clean-up materials after session, disinfect teaching materials.
- Participate in team meetings and training workshops.
ESSENTIAL SKILLS:
- Highly reliable
- Able to maintain professionalism in challenging work conditions
- Patient, great attention to detail, and has ability to teach within fun and playful interactions
- Certified as an RBT by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board or able to become certified within 6 weeks of hire.
- Abides by the RBT Ethics Code
- Has a high school diploma
- At least 18 years old
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS / WORKING CONDITIONS:
● Willingness to work with children with aggressive or challenging behavior ● Requires bending, sitting, crawling, lifting up to 50lbs, and driving
