Job Description
Primary Responsibilites:
- Incoming quality inspection and documentation of raw material within specifications (Within SAP and Book)
- SAP Warehouse Management for Raw Material (Old Press and New Press Buildings)
- Maintain WM 100 every 24-48 hours to process through any unreported scrap, parts, or returning Raw Materials back to scanned location for inventory accuracy
- DMN suppliers for nonconformance (late delivery, improper truck loading, etc)
- Reconciling all supplier shipments monthly per accouting requirements
- Managing trucking schedule for incoming deliveries vs orders released to supplier
- Maintaining supplier invoices in K-Net
- Ensure the manufacturing process is supplied with all materials required to meet production requirements.
- Handle any correspondence received from suppliers regarding invoice or receiving discrepancies and perform any investigation required to rectify situation.
- Advise the Shipping and Production Control departments about any supplier quantity disputes to ensure accurate cost control.
- Audit supplier invoices for duplicate charges and notify finance, handle supplier inquiries relating to payment status.
- Reconcile supplier statements to records and investigate any discrepancies.
- Ensure proper month-end cut-off
- Receive all purchased parts or steel for material group into SAP
- Receive all indirect parts into SAP
- Work with purchasing on any pricing issues
- Any other reasonable request made by management.
- Contributes to a safe, clean and comfortable work environment that compliments the Occupational Health and Safety Act by ensuring the principles of the 5S discipline (simplify, separate, sanitize, standardize and support) are supported and adhered to.
Qualified Experience:
- 2 to 3 years on the job experience preferably in a manufacturing environment; automotive manufacturing experince preferred.
- 2 to 3 years SAP Experience (MM, WM)
- Shop floor experience helpful but not required.
- Good communication skills, both written and verbal
- Uses positive and effective interpersonal skills to negotiate and build/maintain relationships with suppliers and employees
- Ability to work well under pressure; effective use of problem solving and decision-making skills
- Ability to organize and prioritize multi-task to meet deadlines
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
- Computer skills i.e. SAP, Word, Excel, Outlook etc.
Education:
- High School Diploma
- Associates or College Education is a plus
