Ramp Agent
Alaska Air Transit is hiring a full-time Ramp Agent for our Merrill Field, Anchorage, location.
We are looking for a hard working team-player to be a key member of our organization.
Position Responsibilities
- Load and unload aircraft
- Organize and manage freight flow
- Service aircraft; fueling, anti-icing, cleaning and washing
- Maintain a clean and safe ramp and hangar
- Marshal aircraft and passenger escort
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks and electric aircraft tugs
- Maintain customer vehicles in our on-site long-term parking
- Communicate via radio with other departments
- Lift and move up to 50 pounds without assistance, perform light custodial and housekeeping tasks.
Position Environment
- To be immersed in the culture of Alaskan aviation and work with highly experienced pilots, a stellar team of flight operations, maintenance, and customer service agents, many of whom are aspiring pilots.
- To learn more about rural Alaska and its communities, as well as the many companies that conduct business in remote locations.
- To get to know many of our customers and clients on a personal basis.
- A work tempo that can range from slow to fast-paced!

Position Details
Salary: Starting at $16.00 hour, DOE.
Two Positions Open: Full-Time (35-40 hours)
