What to Expect as a Radiology Tech with OrthoArizona:
Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
Schedule: Full- time
Location: Peoria, AZ

As a Radiology Tech with OrthoArizona, you’ll get to:
- Prepare patients for radiologic procedures.
- Explain all procedures to patients being sure all of their questions are answered.
- Protect patients from unnecessary exposure to radiation by utilizing shielding equipment.
- Take x-rays following established procedures for patient care and safety.
- Document patient care services in EMR
- Import outside imaging to office PACS.
- Scan documents into EMR
- Maintain accurate QC logs and service records, maintain and monitor dosimetry badges, etc. as required by state and federal regulations.
- Ensure equipment is in working order, maintain radiology supplies and report any malfunctions.
Your experience should include:
- 1 – 2 years Radiology, preferably in a busy orthopedic practice or hospital.
- Completion of approved American College of Radiology Technologist Program.
- Certificate of Medical Imaging Modality by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (ARRT)
- Arizona State license Medical Radiologic Technologist Board of Examiners (MRTBE)
- Current CPR certification
