Job Description
Full time X-Ray technician needed for 3 Practitioner clinic. Must be able to handle a fast paced, fun atmosphere. Microsoft word/excel and Bi-lingual helpful but no required. Monday thru Friday 8:30am to 5pm.
Responsibilities include but not limited to:
- Operate and maintain x-ray equipment to ensure that it is in good working order
- Maintain a clean and professional x-ray room, clean room after every patient seen
- Prepare room/patients for x-ray procedures and obtain clear images to be sent to Radiologist for reading
- Obtain x-ray reports from Radiologist (EXA), scan and file into patient's chart for physician's review, check incoming faxes for radiology reports to be filed into patient's chart for provider review
- Contact Radiologist/Radiology Company for corrected reports or missing reports
- Contact patients to return clinic for any additional imaging requested by the physician
- Enter x-ray billing into EHR system to ensure that all images are captured and billed
- Maintain daily log of all x-ray imaging completed and billed
- Assist in Back Office procedures/room cleaning when and as needed
Qualifications required:
- Current licensure as a Radiologic Technologist in the State of Arizona
- Graduate from an Accredited School in Applied Sciences Radiography
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a certified Radiologic Technologist preferred – but not required
- Ability to work in fast-paced situations with a professional demeanor.
- Associate degree, MRTBE and ARRT certification, and current BLS are required.
- Current and valid driver's license
