Hours: 10a-6p, PRN

Location: Overland Park clinic, with option for more hours at other clinics
Under the direction of the Directors, the Radiology tech assistant/Medical assistant is responsible for assisting with patient workflow and efficient clinic operations. The Radiology tech assistant greets patients, prepares the patient for their exams, reviews patient orders and screening sheet/history prior to procedure, and starts IVs. Assists patients, collects, and submits appropriate paperwork to the technical staff. Appropriately conveys exam results to patients or physician offices. Assists with maintaining a clean, safe environment for patients and stocks supplies and linen. Consistently works with all staff and radiologists to problem solve issues as necessary, including incomplete or incorrect orders. Answers phones and handles calls appropriately. Schedules and reschedules patient appointments, as necessary. Assists with front desk and other duties when required.
High School Diploma required.
Medical Assistant associate degree or equivalent certificate.
1 to 2 years of position-related experience preferred.
IV certification preferred.
