What you will do:
Under the direction of the Imaging Manager, the RAD Tech provides support to the medical imaging department. Imaging Technologists utilize multimodalities to image human body for diagnostic purposes and send to the Radiologist, a physician who provides results or interpretation of the images. The Radiology Tech Assistant works with clinical staff to meet department turnaround times and maintain appropriate start times. Patient interactions, multiple platform computer skills and retrieving medical records from patient charts are required.
Essential Functions
- The Rad Technologist Assistant works with clinical staff to meet department turnaround times and maintain appropriate start times.
- Patient interactions to assist with clinical workflow
- Assist with filing, delivering, retrieving patient records including documents in chart and images in PACS
- Clerical auditing required to ensure appropriate results turnaround time
- Clerical data entry required to ensure accurate and timely billing

What you will need:
Experience:
- 1+ year related work experience
- Minimum of 6 months Radiology or Medical Imaging experience from one of the following (Tech Aide, ARRT/ARDMS student, MA/CNA in Radiology department, Radiology Scheduling/Authorization, Radiology film library/image request management)
Education:
- High school diploma or GED
Additional Required Qualifications:
- Basic computer skills required: email management, digital calendars, electronic queue management, data entry, spreadsheet software, CD importing, e-faxing, instant messaging.
- Written and verbal communication including the use of medical terminology.
- Customer service skills.
- Interpersonal skills.

- Basic functions of eClinicalWorks system Basic functions of PACS systems
