Radiology Tech Aide 7 Am - 3:30 Pm M-F

Outpatient radiology center seeking friendly, patient-centered, team-oriented Tech Aide to assist the MRI and CT departments in workflow.

This position would be based in our Rockville location but would require the employee to support both our Rockville and Germantown locations as needed for vacations and/or call outs. This would NOT require travel back and forth throughout the day. The schedule would be set, and only be modified in the event of a call out.

Requirements:

• One year of medical experience
• Fluency in Spanish

Total hours: 40

Hours: 7 am - 3:30 pm

Salary: $18 - $22. Negotiable based on experience.

Responsibilities includes retrieving patients from the waiting room, placing IV's, reviewing paperwork, preparing patients for their exam, confirmation calls, stocking, cleaning exam rooms, and other duties typical of a Tech Aide. Phlebotomy is required but the practice is willing to train the employee on the job if needed.

The candidate must be able to lift MRI coils (camera's) which can weigh up to 30 lbs.
