Position Summary
This is a remote work opportunity. The Radiology Coder is responsible for ensuring client success by accurately coding radiology claims. Excellent teamwork and a client-focused approach are a must.
Key Responsibilities
- Abstract Coding of radiology physician and IDTF services.
- Resolve claim rejections to ensure claims are accepted by payors for processing.
- Charge entry for non-interface locations.
- Research and resolve claim denials to ensure proper payment and client success.
Experience and Qualifications
Required:
- Self-motivated with a positive and professional approach
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Coding certification such as CPC or RCC
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications including Teams, Word, and Excel
- Superior communication, problem-solving, and follow-up skills
Preferred:
- 1+ year experience abstract coding radiology services
- Experience in Waystar, MedInformatix
- AA/AS in Medical Billing and Coding
