Description:
St. Mary's is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Tech. This individual will perform duties directly involved with a variety of technical procedures in the application of radionuclides for the diagnosis and treatment of disease in patients. Supervises technologist and ancillary personnel assigned. This position requires comprehensive understanding of related technology, independent judgment, ingenuity, and initiative.
Requirements:
Siemens experience
Spectrum Dynamics cardiac camera experience
Bachelor degree preferred. Graduate of an approved JRCERT program for Radiologic Technology and/or Nuclear Medicine.
Holder of a valid and current:
1. Registration by American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) or certification by the Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board (NMTCB)
2. Licensed as required by the West Virginia State "Board" of Radiology
Previous work experience in clinical nuclear medicine desired. Uses a variety of radiation detection, measuring and recording devices and mechanical accessories. Uses a variety of radiation shielding materials and devices. Uses a variety of computers
M-F, 7a-3:30p
Call: Generally one week per month. Coverage would be until 11 pm M-F and the entire weekend.
