Position:Radiologic Technologist
Location: Rapid City, SD
Duration: 4 Months
Overview: We are seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join our team at [Company Name]. The ideal candidate will have the necessary credentials and experience to perform radiologic procedures in various patient settings, particularly focusing on operating room (OR) experiences.
General Responsibilities:
- Perform radiologic procedures in outpatient, inpatient, emergency department (ED), OR, NICU, pediatrics, vented, and sedated patient settings.
- Conduct whole body, musculoskeletal, and neuro imaging procedures, utilizing Carestream portables and client C-arm equipment.
- Manage an average caseload of 15-20 patients per day.
- Adhere to the charting system using EPIC and Sectra, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.
- Possess expertise in Level 1 or 2 Trauma experiences with a focus on OR procedures.
Required Credentials and Education:
- Registered Radiologic Technologist (RT) certification through the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification.
- Proficiency in C-arm operation; familiarity with EPIC (preferred).
- Minimum of 1-year relevant experience; 3 years preferred. Candidates with OR experience highly preferred.
- Must hold 2023-24 Flu Documentation, HIPAA, and comply with all COVID-related requirements.
- Completion of necessary screenings and immunizations (TB testing, Hep B Titers, MMR, Varicella, TDAP, etc.).
- Clear criminal background check, drug screen, and required annual certifications.
Work Environment and Schedule:
- Will predominantly work in the OR setting, spending the majority of time there.
- Varied shifts as needed, including a weekend rotation (schedule to be discussed during interview).
- On-call duties are rare and will be discussed during the interview process.
- Holiday expectations, time-off approvals, and other administrative aspects will be addressed during the interview.
