Pay Range: $20.60 - $27.76/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).
Key Responsibilities:
- Performs full range of General Radiology procedures including but not limited to:
- Portables, fluoroscopy, operating room, trauma, contrast studies and DEXA bone densitometry in a digital/PACS environment.
- Responsible for operating a variety of x-ray equipment in both a hospital/trauma and outpatient setting.
- Responsible for confirming order/correct patient/correct exam and entering exam in Meditech.
- Must obtain quality image including both technical and positional factors.
- Responsible for maintaining exposures to ionizing radiation as low as reasonably achievable.
- Responsible for confirming patient demographics and lead markers prior to processing/QA and releasing image and assuring all “Stat” procedures or special exam instructions are completed appropriately.
- Adapts to schedule changes including call shifts and call back for procedures/holidays.
- Follows policies and procedures of West Florida Hospital.
- Participates in the Quality Improvement process and adheres to WFH standards of behavior.
Key Requirements and Technology Experience:
- 1 year of RECENT (WITHIN THE LAST YEAR OR TWO) ACUTE CARE RAD TECH EXPERIENCE.
- Graduate of ARRT Accredited Program and current ARRT registry required
- Current ARRT registry required, Florida Certification is required.
