As a RF Design Engineer II at QuinStar, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and enhance our RF and millimeter-wave products. Your responsibilities will include developing RF multi-chip modules and subsystems, conducting product analysis for performance and reliability, and ensuring timely delivery of engineering tasks. Additionally, you'll provide mentorship to junior engineers, troubleshoot technical issues, and play a key role in transferring prototypes to the production department, ensuring the quality and reliability of our products.

What you’ll do:
· Collaborating with cross-functional teams to design and improve QuinStar's RF and millimeter-wave products.
· Developing RF multi-chip modules, amplifiers, and subsystems based on MIC and MMIC technology.
· Conducting product analysis to ensure performance, reliability, and adherence to specifications.
· Ensuring on-time delivery of engineering tasks, including design configuration, layout and schematics, design analysis, design reviews, drawing release, product delivery, and production documentation.
· Assisting in proposal efforts by providing design concepts, technical inputs, and cost estimates.
· Planning and managing engineering project tasks, costs, and schedules.
· Participating in and presenting design reviews, both internally and to customers.
· Providing documentation and analysis to ensure product quality and reliability.
· Mentoring and providing support to junior product engineers.
· Troubleshooting and resolving RF, electrical, mechanical, and test issues.
· Developing and reviewing product drawings, travelers, test setups, test plans, test procedures, datasheets, and more.
· Transferring engineering prototypes and documentation to the production department.
· Collaborating with the production department to improve productivity, quality, and cost-efficiency.
· Maintaining accurate documentation of test data, drawings, tuning, and modifications.
· Team player with a positive attitude, eager to collaborate and contribute to the success of the team.
· Assume additional duties as assigned to meet the evolving requirements of the department.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
· Must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R. § 120.15 is required. "US Person" includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.
· A Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or an equivalent field.
· At least 3-6 years with hands-on experience in designing, testing, and developing RF, MW, or MMW components, amplifiers, and subsystems.
· Proficiency in micro-electronic circuit theory and design.
· Capable of developing and analyzing analog, digital, and RF circuits.
· Familiarity with RF theory, RF design, and analysis software.
· Practical experience in using laboratory test equipment for RF circuit verification and a solid understanding of test methodologies.
· Ability to interpret and review mechanical design drawings, with knowledge of mechanical and thermal design principles.
· Proficiency in utilizing simulation and design tools such as Spice, HFSS, AWR, Altium, AutoCAD, Solidworks, or similar software to assess product performance.
· Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
· Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications and Skills:
· Experience in thermal design and analysis.
· Familiarity with LabView, Vee, Python, or Matlab for automation and analysis purposes.
· Understanding of micro-controller applications.
