Position Responsibilities:

• Plans, directs and supervises the activities of Radiation Therapists.
• Assists Radiation Therapists in planning treatments involving the use of dosimetry procedures and isodosing curves.
• Monitors adherence to radiation safety factors on the unit.
• Administers radiation therapy to patients according to written prescription form, and in consultation and cooperation with, the radiation oncologist.
• Assists in the development and implementation of policies and procedures to improve patient care.
• Perform technical tasks associated with the localization of tumors and the administration of radiation therapy to patients.
• Accurately simulates and administers prescribed dosage to patients.
• Makes work assignments; review work of Radiation Therapists; assists in training new personnel.

Qualifications:

• Licensed and ARRT certification required
• 2- 4 year degree in ARRT approved radiation therapy program
• Minimum 5 years experience
