Mayo Clinic Arizona is recruiting for a Radiation Oncologist interested in Breast, GU and CNS malignancies to join as a staff member in 2024.
The candidate should be a board-eligible/certified Radiation Oncologist with experience in proton therapy preferred. Responsibilities include leading clinical research efforts, education of trainees and staff, and maintaining a busy clinical practice.
The Department of Radiation Oncology currently has fourteen staff physicians. Physics support and treatment planning is provided by eleven PhD physicists, seven MS physicists and seventeen dosimetrists. State-of-the-art equipment include four Varian TrueBeam accelerators, two CT simulators with 4D capability, four Hitachi proton gantries and ongoing programs in SRS, SBRT, TBI, TSE, HDR brachytherapy and IORT.
Mayo Clinic Arizona is expanding with nearly doubling the size of the campus by 2024. Through a combination of new structures and additions to existing facilities, 1.5 million square feet will be added, including 94 patient rooms and five operating rooms.
