Full-Time Onsite Schedule:

Thursday - Sunday 9:00pm-7:30am.

Our Award Winning Client is seeking a skilled Radiologic Technologist to join their dynamic team. This full-time position requires a graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology, certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, and possessing a current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT). Additionally, registration as a Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R) is mandatory.

Key Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology.
• Certified in Basic or Advanced Life Support, required.
• Current license or temporary license by the Texas Medical Board (MRT), required.
• Registered Radiology Technologist by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT-R), required.

Technical Skills:

• Ability to lift and/or maneuver patients for job functions.
• Demonstrates commitment to the Partners-in-Caring process.
• Performs radiography (x-ray) exams ensuring compliance with radiation safety procedures.
• Prepares patients for exams, records vital signs, explains procedures, administers IV and contrast when necessary.
• Positions patients for exams, selects appropriate imaging techniques, and ensures technical quality of images.
• Enters and monitors patient data.
• Performs quality assurance on radiology equipment.
• Assists with initial and renewal application for ACR and other accreditation.
• Identifies and reports accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions.
• Takes emergency calls within the department, may work weekends and float to other locations as needed.
• May administer breath alcohol tests and/or urine drug screens.
• May perform patient registration tasks such as verifying insurance, collecting payments, etc.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure safe care for patients, staff, and visitors; adhere to all policies, procedures, and standards within budgetary specifications.
• Promote individual professional growth and development through mandatory/continuing education.
• Support department-based goals contributing to the organization's success.
• Other duties as assigned.
