Please review the following job description:
Provide leadership, direct supervision and coaching to the credit underwriters and loan processors in a Regional Business Center (RBC). The position is responsible for achieving asset quality objectives, underwriting standards (credit and loan origination), internal sales and marketing, profit objectives and growth goals for the branch.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.
1. Sales and Dealer Relations: Oversee and manage all Internal Dealer Relations and marketing activities encompassing assigned Regional Business Center Territory. Provide leadership, management and introduction of all Truist Products through Integrated Relationship Manager (IRM) and other avenues to our client dealer base.
2. Risk / Portfolio Performance: Ensure strict compliance to all guidelines and policies through effective risk management of all areas of center operations (Credit / Funding / Marketing). Provide guidance to ensure Center meets all State and Federal Regulatory and Compliance standards.
3. Staff Management: Provide management and leadership to all credit underwriters and loan processor teammates within the Regional Business Center to ensure a Perfect Client Experience (PCE) and positive engagement environment. Inclusive of hiring, training and daily guidance to ensure all designated responsibilities and duties are accomplished per Truist standards. Mentor all lines of management (Credit Underwriter, Loan Processing Manager and Loan Processor's) as direct reports to develop through Truist standards for growth and development.
4. Credit and Compliance Management: Provide training and guidance to all credit staff to ensure compliance with all established guidelines and policies. Review and provide extensive training related to all formal audits (internal, state and federal regulatory) to ensure compliance.
5. Strategic Planning and Budget Management: Participate in the development of strategic planning for the Regional Business Center. This includes, but not limited to, industry and competitor programs and pricing, socio economic indicators and all other issues that may impact overall performance and growth. Continual awareness of the moving market and competitors and providing information promptly to Senior Management to enable required adjustments to pricing and programs.
6. Loan Process Management: Work with Loan Processing teammates and leadership to ensure compliance to all guidelines and policies. Ensure that all funded loans are accurate and prevent any fraudulent activity or misrepresentation as this is our most crucial line of defense in Risk Management.
7. Key Performance Indicators (KPI's): Manage Regional Business Center to ensure that all designated KPI's are achieved as presented by Senior Management. Will participate in establishing KPI goals, conducting frequent meetings with all departments and providing leadership to ensure all goals are accomplished.
8. Other Critical Tasks and Duties assigned including, but not limited to all Human Resource issues for staff (performance reviews, scheduling, discipline, etc.).
Required Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and related training or experience
2. Five years of indirect automotive lending or related industry experience.
3. Two years of successful experience in a management role
4. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills
5. Ability to build teams and delegate effectively
6. Appropriate computer skills
7. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
8. Effective time management and organizational skills
9. Ability to travel, occasionally overnight
Preferred Qualifications:
1. Knowledge of systems and operations supporting the regional business center.
2. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
3. Experience with CRM systems.
4. Established dealer client relationships within existing market.
