Position Summary:

Florida Atlantic University is seeking a R2T4 Funds Coordinator, Student Financial Aid- Boca Raton, Fl.
Summary of Responsibilities:
This position's key responsibility is the timely completion of Return to Title IV calculations for all students who were scheduled for but failed to complete the entire period for which the federal aid was awarded. The ideal candidate possesses the ability to meet competing deadlines, has strong analytical and organizational skills, and is detail oriented. This position is an integral part of the department's Finance Team, which oversees all of the financial operations and compliance matters.
  • Responsible for accurate and timely completion of all R2T4 calculations.
  • Provides superior customer service and efficiency in response to student and staff R2T4 inquiries.
  • Responsible for adhering to the Financial Aid and R2T4 policies and requirements and maintaining up to date procedures.
  • Serves as a subject-matter expert on withdrawal processing regulations and the application of federal regulations to university policy.
  • Ensures proper notification to both students and the Controller's Office of R2T4 calculation return amounts and tuition refunds.
  • Evaluates weekly non-attendance reports to determine students who may be in violation of university attendance policy and re-calculates aid based on eligibility.
  • Serves as liaison and collaborates with the Registrar's Office in all matters relating to the students' enrollment reporting.
  • Processes weekly student grade change reports and recalculates student eligibility when applicable.
  • Manages and approves the student's official withdrawal forms.
  • Supports the Assistant Director of Post-Disbursement, Finance & Administration position in the monthly Title IV and Alternative Loan reconciliations.
  • Performs other job-related duties and special projects as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited institution in an appropriate area of specialization and two years of appropriate experience required.
Excellent verbal, written, organizational, analytical and problem-solving skills required.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in analytics and/or Higher ED Student Financial Aid.
Strong Excel skills.
Salary:
$50,000.00 per year.

Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. - 5 p.m. This position requires attending meetings and/or performing presentations on evenings and weekends as required.
