Wiring Production Associate – Quick Car
Job Description
Reports to: General Manager
FLSA Status: Non-Exempt
Position Summary:
The Wiring Production Associate is responsible for assembling parts in a manufacturing environment using care and ensuring quantity, quality, and accuracy standards are achieved.
Supervisory Responsibilities:
The position does not have supervisory responsibility.
Responsibilities & Duties:
· Perform a variety of production and manufacturing processes, such as staging production assembly parts and manually installing key components, switches, gauges, and wires
· Sort and place materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code
· Operate various production packaging machines and hand tools
· Visually inspects parts to standards. Return flawed products to Production for reworking
· Double-checking for accuracy, carefully packs completed orders in correct and efficient manner, utilizing proper packing methods to make best use of carton space and packing material usage
· Assist with routine cycle counts
· Replenish stock levels in assigned locations as demand levels indicate
· Assist in sales and customer service when needed
· Partake in overall housekeeping including cleaning, organizing, dusting, sweeping, etc.
· Other duties as assigned
Education/Experience/Qualifications:
· High School diploma or GED required
Skills & Abilities:
· Ability to effectively communicate with leadership, managers, leads, and peers
· Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively in a team environment
· Willing to participate in Company designated training
· Ability to work with minimum supervision/guidance
· Must have knowledge of and comply with the policies and procedures contained in the company handbook

- Ability to use repetitive motions with hands/hand tools
Preferred Skills/Experience
· Automotive/Racing/12-Volt wiring experience
· Mechanically inclined
· Highly organized/organizational skills
· Willing/able to learn
· Highly motivated
Physical Demands:
This is a Production/Warehouse position that requires sitting, standing, walking, stooping, kneeling, and use of hands continuously for eight hours. This position requires lifting/moving up to 50 pounds. This position occasionally requires work time beyond an eight-hour shift/40-hour week.
