Job Summary
The Quarry Manager is responsible for the supervision of the plant's quarry production as well as assisting the Quality Superintendent in keeping the quarry aligned to meet operating goals. This position will lead the quarry department in the implementation and control of the plant's safety efforts, where the focus will be on the improvement and maintenance of safety procedures.

Responsibilities
- Manage the Quarry Supervisor and provide direction and resources as necessary to assist in the achievement of department, plant, and company goals
- Provide relief support for the Quality Superintendent and Quarry Supervisor as needed
- Support and apply the management tools and programs implemented by the company and strive to meet the requirements therein.

- Familiar with the dome rock quality targets and the plant SOP's; apply standards and take corrective actions when needed
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, environmental, MSHA, OSHA, and company health and safety standards; apply standards and take corrective actions when needed
- Project a positive and professional image as a representative of the department, the plant, and the company both internally and externally
- Motivate staff to achieve their personal best
Education
B.S. in Mining Engineering
Requirements/Qualifications
- 3-5 years of experience in mining operations
- Familiarity with federal, state, environmental, MSHA, and OSHA regulations
