Summary
The Quantitative Analyst is responsible for preparing, organizing and creating detailed financial documents and financial analysis for municipal debt issues, including annual continuing disclosure assistance. This position may also interpret financial data to assist in funding public projects and collaborates with senior municipal advisors in the gathering and creation of information to present to public officials. The position will follow all steps of the municipal bond financing from preliminary information gathering through date of closing.
Essential Functions
Consistently demonstrates exceptional internal and external service with clients demonstrating core values of integrity, commitment and performance.
Observe regulatory rules and comply with department procedures.
Coordinates with company staff to gather, analyze, summarize, and prepare recommendations and reports.
Input current debt repayment details and run financing options by entering financial data into MUNEX and Excel.
Works directly with public finance advisors and other staff.
Prepare debt-related tables contained in official statements, term sheets and disclosure filings.
Review data tables in official statements, term sheets and disclosure filings for accuracy.
Prepare RFPs, presentations, and other correspondence as necessary.
Attend presentations and governmental meetings, as requested.

Education and/or Experience
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) from four-year college or university in Finance, Accounting, Economics or related field.
