What You'll Do:
Job Summary: Responsible for the administration and coordination of the Manufacturing Training Program for all production associates. Responsible for conducting general training on all production equipment and warehouse procedures. Updates and distributes Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for equipment, conducts audits on processes to ensure efficiency, and reports discrepancies to management. Maintains all training related documentation. Acts as an information source when special or critical Quality Services training-related issues occur.
- Conducts general training on all production equipment and warehouse procedures for new hires and temporary associates.
- Responsible for the development, updating, and implementation of training materials for LSI production associates and departments.
- Coordinates and establishes training schedule for new hires, transfers, and temporary associates.
- Updates and distributes SOPs on equipment, writes checklists', and creates training schedules.
- Establishes training guidelines/sessions for new equipment and/or product offerings.
- Organizes and conducts annual departmental refresher training for all existing production associates.
- Conducts audits of existing SOPs in all manufacturing areas and updates based findings.
- Solicits associates for "best practices" and applies those to existing SOPs with management approval.
- Monitors and analyzes training programs designed to maintain/improve product quality.
- Recommends modifications and improvements to training systems and procedures.
- Maintains master training spreadsheets used in skills assessments and performs reassessments on a regular basis.
- Coordinates logistics for training activities including venues and equipment.
- Conducts training-related presentations during weekly shift meetings or monthly Safety and Quality Huddles when requested.
- Responsible for maintaining documentation of previous associate trainings.
- Establishes criteria, coordinates, and executes train-the-trainer programs.
- Assists with quality audits
- Other duties as assigned.
Basic/Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1 year experience in the administration of training programs in a manufacturing environment
