Food Security & Food Quality.
Job Description:
Engages in processing quality data for various team members.
Conducts Food Safety, HACCP Operator, JSA, WI, SOP and Quality Procedure Training and is a certified TWI. Conducts new hire orientation. Monitors key Training Matrix.
Updates employee training records under Oasis and now in Workday.
Reviews HACCP Logs before turning them in for final review by QA Manager. Tracks errors on HACCP Logs.
Assists with GainSeeker Project by entering and verifying data and training the Quality Inspectors (currently launching).
Assists with monthly calibration of QC lab equipment e.g. scales and moisture machines.
Maintains certification records for metal detectors probes. Responsible to order replacements, control available inventory & conduct a monthly verification of the probes.
Assists with ordering lab supplies.
Serves as an ElecTech (capable of adjusting equipment to meet calibration target and range).
Trouble shoots and facilitates communication between Quality Inspectors and IT with Software & Hardware issues.
Assists with customer complaint investigation as needed.
Leads the Food Safety Audits and runs the graphs for the Staff Meeting. (Floor Audit: identify non-conformities by department, Desk Audit: ensure Corrective Actions are documented and non-conformities are closed.
Assists with 2nd & 3rd Party and Internal Audits as needed.
Reviews plant wide documents that pertain to SQF for accuracy. Tracks errors & notify managers.
Assists with creating Worker Instructions and SOPs.
Coordinates with Salida DC, Quality Inspectors, & Sacramento Lab to regarding EISR.
Trains less experience quality assurance team members.
Assists Sanitation Team Leader to collect swabs as needed.
Assists with internal audits.
Collects water and air samples for testing.
Annually compiles, labels & assists the shipment of quality documents to Iron Mountains and updates the Spreadsheet for Iron Mountain.
Runs hold Report under SAP & assists with QC cage inventory.
Reviews quality test sheets when needed.
Enters Foreign Material on Excel Spreadsheet in SharePoint and scans and saves Investigation Reports in SharePoint.
Travels to other Blue Diamond facilities for Quality support as needed.
Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or assigned.
Receives guidelines from supervisor but is expected to determine appropriate action when handling all but the most unusual tasks.
