Responsible for helping to improve the company's quality programs internally and externally including customers, material suppliers and regulatory. Quality has oversight over all incoming chemicals, mix, finished good chemicals, components for chemical packaging and shipping, equipment parts, equipment finished goods, and overall supplier quality. Must be able to translate quality strategy into tactical policies, processes and procedures that are properly communicated and effectively executed to meet the quality standards within the company..
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Assist the Quality Manager in solving customer quality problems, working with cross-functional teams on finding root cause and completion of an action plan.
- Monitor and audit the quality of all manufactured goods, working to not only find defects, but also to find the cause of the defect and develop a solution.
- Work with R&D and material buyers to monitor, test and audit supplier products to make sure they meet and maintain specified standards.
- Create and maintain accurate quality standard operating procedure documentation.
- Work towards statistical information for quality improvement by identifying testing methods and sampling of finished product.
- Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data to make recommendations.
- Initiate, lead, and facilitate quality improvement initiatives and drive the understanding and application throughout the company.
- Continuous improvement to all of the manufacturing processes/procedures.
- Involved with at the minimum of one Kaizen per year.
- Assist with yearly vendor quality audits
- Daily line case inspections
- Review of the documents submitted daily off the line for accuracy.
- Responsible for all recordkeeping.
- Daily support for internal / external non-conformances.
- Provide Quality training as needed.
- Support Envirozyme with Quality initiatives that are needed to support the business.
