We are currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Quality Technicianto join our growing team.
Hours: 1:50pm-10:50pm 8-Hour Shift
Shift: 2nd Shift, Monday - Friday
WHAT YOU WILL DO

This position will allow you to demonstrate your technical and observational skills while inspecting materials and products to ensure they meet the appropriate standards. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS (include but are not limited to)
• Implement and maintain Quality systems and procedures to ensure food safety and product quality adherence to required specifications.
• Inspecting net content of product to ensure they meet regulatory amount.
• Conduct X-Ray/Metal Detection checks on assigned lines.
• Responsible for personal compliance with all regulations, safety policies, and procedures that support Good Manufacturing Practices and Food Safety.
• Ensure successful start-up of production lines that are assigned to the job description.
• Communicate and coordinate with Quality, Operations, and Maintenance on corrective actions to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Maintain a constant floor presence.
• Must have the ability to stand and work on feet for duration of the work shift.
• Must be able to work and communicate as a team member.
• Must be able to support Operations and Quality training needs.
• Report all safety concerns and potential hazards.
• Encourage continuous improvement in area.
• Accountable and responsible for action execution for given areas.
• Meet all safety requirements.
• Other duties as assigned.
• Comply with required corporate policies.
NOTE. Training will be completed on 1st shift after-which candidate will be assigned to the shift they applied for.
WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU
• Former manufacturing experience preferred but not required
• Minimum High School Diploma or GED
• Lift a minimum of 30lbs
• Able to stand, climb, stoop, kneel, bend, twist, and crouch on occasion
• Able to reach above shoulders
• Have basic computer skills in Microsoft suite programs (Excel, Word, Teams, etc.)
• Work overtime when needed
• Work weekends when needed
• Able to work in hot and humid conditions
• Have strong organizational, communicative, and interactive skills
• Able to work well independently and in a group setting
• Have the capability and initiative to perform duties without direct supervision
• Have strong time management skills
• Have good written and verbal communication skills
• Spanish or bilingual fluency highly preferred
