The Quality Technician is responsible for performing standardized quality control checks on our company products to ensure they meet the required company standards for dimensional and paint quality. You will also be required to maintain On Ramp reporting and identify areas for quality control improvement.
To ensure success as a Quality Technician you should have a working knowledge in the use of Mancor work orders, excellent visual awareness, and the ability to work with minimal supervision.
Quality Technician Responsibilities:
- Auditing and checking of parts, processes and paperwork for in process parts and inventory.
- Inspecting goods or products according to quality and safety standards.
- Enter, monitor and maintain On Ramp data entry,
- Record results on inspection forms and in ERP system, and reject product when parts do not meet acceptable limits.
- Understand basic blueprint and drawing readings, including specifications,
- Participate in customer complaint resolution,
- Perform visual, dimensional and process inspections to determine conformance,
- Serve as a role model, reinforcing the customer focus, values and expectations through personal commitment and involvement on the shop floor.
- Ensure fabricated products meet customer specifications.
- Reporting quality anomalies to managers.
- Identifying possible areas for improvement in quality control processes.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
Quality Technician Requirements::
- High School diploma
- Previous Quality Experience or Quality Technician position
- Understanding of blue prints and basic measurements tools
- Ability to analyze and interpret Mancor work order documents
- PC and Communication skills
