POSITION SUMMARY
As a Quality Systems Specialist, you will be responsible for development, certification, and compliance of the factory's Food Safety Management System. Managing the factory's Quality Program to ensure compliance to Company and regulatory requirements. Supporting the factory's HACCP system, Food Safety Plans, and Food Defense Plan. Manages Quality and Food Safety Training Compliance. Uphold Safety as a core value in all activities while actively participating in all factory Safety and Continuous Improvement initiatives.

  • Coordinates Food Safety Management System, company Quality and Food Safety Policy, Quality Management Systems, and Federal Regulations.
  • Coordinate the Factory Internal Audit Program of Quality and Food Safety Management Systems.
  • Ensure factory Document Control, Record Control, and Status Control programs are compliant with Corporate and regulatory requirements.
  • Assist in administration and communication of changes for Quality Monitoring Schemes. Review process annually with QA Management.
  • Coordinate the factory Change Control program.

Requirements
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • 2+ years of Quality Systems, auditing, food safety, quality document control, related experience within a manufacturing, industrial, military, or related environment

Other
  • Associate's or Bachelor's dehree in Food Science or related field
  • Experience and/or certifications with ISO or FSSC aduits

The approximate pay range for this position is $60,000 to $86,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities as well as geographic location of the position.
