What You'll Do As A Quality Receiving Inspector:

• Unpack and examine all incoming goods, purchased materials, parts, and processed items to verify that certifications and packing lists are in order for conformance to meet quality assurance standards.
• Work from blueprints and established procedures to determine acceptance or rejection of items inspected.
• Meticulously document all inspection data and reports.
• Complete given tasks assigned by management.
• Follows all DG safety procedures as per company policies and per the Facility Engineer/Safety Director

What Qualifications You Bring:

• A High School Diploma/GED
• Minimum of 3 years' experience needed as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge and practical application of inspection tools like height gauges, optical comparators, calipers and micrometers.
• Ability to interpret basic blueprint drawings and have an understanding of quality assurance standards, and procedures as well as supplier certifications and test documents.
• Knowledge of applicable industry standards AS9100 and ISO9001.
• Computer skills with MS Office and an ERP system (Preferably Oracle or INFOR)
• Proven ability to succeed in a fast paced environment with a strong attention to detail
• Strong communication skills in English (Written and Verbal)
• Able to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs
• Vision abilities required are: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
