What You'll Do As A Quality Receiving Inspector:
- Unpack and examine all incoming goods, purchased materials, parts, and processed items to verify that certifications and packing lists are in order for conformance to meet quality assurance standards.
- Work from blueprints and established procedures to determine acceptance or rejection of items inspected.
- Meticulously document all inspection data and reports.
- Complete given tasks assigned by management.
- Follows all DG safety procedures as per company policies and per the Facility Engineer/Safety Director
What Qualifications You Bring:
- A High School Diploma/GED
- Minimum of 3 years' experience needed as a Quality Inspector in a manufacturing environment.
- Working knowledge and practical application of inspection tools like height gauges, optical comparators, calipers and micrometers.
- Ability to interpret basic blueprint drawings and have an understanding of quality assurance standards, and procedures as well as supplier certifications and test documents.
- Knowledge of applicable industry standards AS9100 and ISO9001.
- Computer skills with MS Office and an ERP system (Preferably Oracle or INFOR)
- Proven ability to succeed in a fast paced environment with a strong attention to detail
- Strong communication skills in English (Written and Verbal)
- Able to lift/push/pull up to 25 lbs
- Vision abilities required are: close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
