Quality Manager

Quality Manager - $85k-$125k + 5% Bonus

Onsite - Monday-Friday

One of our larges Food Manufacturing Clients is looking for a strong Quality Manger with Bakery Experience to join their team. The Quality Manager will be responsible for directing all quality assurance and food safety functions. Plan, direct and supervise all quality assurance practices and procedures adhering to local, state and federal food processing manufacturing guidelines.

Responsibilities:

Duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Manage and maintain HACCP plan.
• Audit Quality Assurance functions to assure continued compliance requirements.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary activities among various team members assuring timely, efficient and cost-effective finality.
• Administrate all product specifications assuring compliance with regulatory label requirements.
• Make thorough inspections of departments and area, creating and maintaining written reports of findings and coordinating corrective action as required.
• Develop all ingredient and nutritional information to be in regulatory compliance.
• Ensure food standard compliance with FDA, OSHA, GMP and company policy.
• Monitor inspection of all incoming materials, ensuring proper rotation of same.
• Enforce GMP/HACCP standards and company policy at all times.
• SQF Practitioner and PCQI duties.
• The responsibility for establishing and implementing the training needs of the organizations’ personnel to ensure they have the required competencies to carry out those functions affecting product, legality, safety, and quality.

Requirements:

• 4-year College or university program certification; or two to four years related experience and/or training.
• Familiar with state and federal food processing regulations.
• Basic computer knowledge.
• Must be accurate and detail-oriented.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision and at times independently.
• Proficiency in: MS Office Suite, SAP a Plus
