The Quality Management Videographer Intern is responsible for producing and editing videos used for training in the Manufacturing Division of Stuller, Inc. This includes short videos used for understanding individual process steps, which can be retrieved using the company Intranet, longer videos used for workshops and seminars, and process videos used for alignment with partner facilities around the globe.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with Quality Management Training Department, Process Specialists- Technical and functional areas throughout Manufacturing to identify videos needed to supplement tools used on the Production Floor and in interactive training experiences.
- Participate in the creative process-discuss the requirements of a video request, engage in the storyboard process, perform shoots, and edit videos to meet Stuller's brand standards.
- Prioritize production, based on importance, and availability of resources and personnel.
- Record professional quality videos to provide visual representation of jewelry production.
- Edit videos to produce an attractive, easy to follow product, including text overlays with useful information, such as focus areas and elapsed time.
- Work in synergy with Marketing Department Videographers as needed, to share resources and ensure compliance with brand standards.
- Set up, operate, and take down equipment for shoots.
- Choose appropriate music, color correct footage, and edit videos while working with other teams throughout the editing process to create an excellent final product.
- Present the body of work completed over the course of the internship as a unified project, demonstrating to Company stakeholders the importance of production videos.
Qualifications:
Experience
- Pursuing a degree in Film, Video, Communications or a related field.
- GPA of 3.0 or higher preferred.
- Prefer Junior or Senior, but will consider other class levels.
- Interest in technical and instructional videos preferred.
- Excellent oral, written, communication and presentation skills.
- Experienced in use of media editing software, such as DaVinci Resolve, Adobe Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, or similar.
- Experienced in use of Microsoft Office and other business applications.
- Able to compose and deliver powerful PowerPoint presentations to express self.
- Provide a demo reel, if available.
Knowledge
- Familiar with the creative and planning processes to see a project from concept to delivery.
- Familiar with various camera technologies with the ability to adapt to tools available.
